Mario Golf: World Tour (Japanese: マリオゴルフワールドツアー) is a golf video game developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is a sequel to the 1999 Nintendo 64 title Mario Golf, and the first game in the series to be released since Mario Golf: Advance Tour in 2004. The game features both single-player and multiplayer modes, and allows players to create their own custom characters. The game features courses based on various Mario games, as well as courses based on real-world locations. Players can compete against one another in single-player tournaments, or take part in online tournaments with up to four players. The game also features a variety of power-ups and unlockable characters, as well as a variety of difficulty levels.
