Pokemon Sun (USA) (Japanese title: ポケットモンスターサン) is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is the first installment in the seventh generation of the Pokemon series and is the first of two games released in the same year. Players take on the role of a Pokemon trainer, traveling around the Alola region and capturing, training, and battling Pokemon. Players can also explore the region, battle with other trainers, and participate in various mini-games. The game features new Pokemon, new forms of existing Pokemon, and new features such as the ability to customize the player's avatar. Pokemon Sun also introduces new Alola forms of existing Pokemon, which have different typing and abilities than their original forms. The game also features a new story, new characters, and a new villainous team, Team Skull. Pokemon Sun is an exciting adventure that allows players to explore the Alola region and catch, train, and battle with their favorite Pokemon.
