Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (ペローナのアトリエ～ザ・マジック・オブ・ペローナ～, Perona no Atorie ~ Za Majikku obu Perona ~) is a puzzle adventure game developed by Level-5 and published by Nintendo for the 3DS handheld console. It is the fifth installment in the Professor Layton series, and the first to be released in 3D. The game follows Professor Layton, an archaeologist and puzzle-solver, and his assistant Luke as they investigate a mysterious mask and its connection to a strange phenomenon occurring in the city of Monte d'Or. Throughout their journey, they must solve a variety of puzzles and use the Miracle Mask to uncover the truth behind the events. The game features a variety of puzzles, including a new type called 'Logic Battles', which require the player to use their wits to outwit an opponent. Additionally, the game also includes a variety of minigames and collectibles, as well as a StreetPass feature that allows players to share puzzles with one another. Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is a charming and engaging adventure game that will challenge and delight players of all ages.
