Rune Factory 4 (Usa) (Japanese title: ルーンファクトリー4) is a role-playing game developed by Neverland and published by Marvelous Entertainment for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is part of the Rune Factory series, which combines elements of simulation and role-playing games. In Rune Factory 4, the player takes on the role of an adventurous young man or woman who is sent to the town of Selphia to become its ruler. The player must then manage the town, grow crops, raise monsters, and take on quests to progress the story.
