The Nintendo 3DS game Smurfs, The (USA) (Japanese title: スマーフザムービー) is a side-scrolling platformer based on the 2011 animated movie of the same name. The game follows the adventures of the Smurfs, a group of blue-skinned, white-capped, three-apple-high creatures, as they try to save their village from the evil wizard Gargamel. Players will explore the Smurfs’ village, the forest, and the castle as they battle Gargamel’s minions and collect items to help them on their quest. Along the way, they’ll be able to use Smurf powers and abilities, such as climbing and gliding, to get to hard-to-reach places and overcome obstacles.
