Sonic Generations (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (Rev 1) is a Nintendo 3DS game developed by SEGA and Dimps. It is a 2D side-scrolling platform game and a celebration of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. In the game, players take control of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends as they travel through time to save the world from a mysterious force. The game features classic Sonic stages from the past, as well as new stages created specifically for the 3DS version. Players can also customize their characters with a variety of costumes, accessories and power-ups. The game also features a number of mini-games and challenges, as well as online leaderboards and a variety of achievements. In Japan, the game is known as ソニックジェネレーションズ (Sonic Generations).
