Super Mario 3D Land (スーパーマリオ3Dランド, Sūpā Mario 3D Rando) is a Nintendo 3DS game developed and published by Nintendo. It is the first 3D Mario game to be released for the Nintendo 3DS and the first 3D Mario game since Super Mario Galaxy 2. The game features classic Mario platforming action in 3D, as well as new power-ups and features. Players take control of Mario as he traverses eight worlds in an effort to save Princess Peach from the evil Bowser. Along the way, Mario must collect coins, defeat enemies, and solve puzzles. The game also introduces the Tanooki Suit, which allows Mario to fly and transform into a statue.
