Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori amiibo (とびだせ どうぶつの森 amiibo, lit. Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo) is a life simulation video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS console. It is an enhanced version of the 2012 game, Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori (Animal Crossing: New Leaf). The game was released on November 23, 2016 in Japan, and was released worldwide on December 2, 2016. In Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori amiibo, players take on the role of mayor in a small village populated by anthropomorphic animals. Players can customize their character, build and decorate their home, and interact with other villagers. The game features new characters, activities, and items, as well as compatibility with amiibo figures and cards. The game includes a new mode called amiibo Party, which allows players to use their amiibo figures and cards to play minigames, earn rewards, and customize their village. Players can also use their amiibo figures to invite new villagers to their village and to unlock special items. In addition to the new features, Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori amiibo also includes all of the content from the original game, including events, activities, and customization options. Players can also visit other players' villages by using the StreetPass feature.
