Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D (USA)　/ トムクランシースプリンターセル 3D (日本) is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Ubisoft for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the fifth installment in the Splinter Cell series of games and the first to be released for the Nintendo 3DS. The game follows the same storyline as the original Splinter Cell game, with the player taking control of Sam Fisher, a highly trained agent of the fictional NSA sub-agency called Third Echelon. The game features a single-player campaign, as well as a cooperative multiplayer mode. The single-player campaign follows Sam Fisher as he infiltrates a terrorist group known as the Engineers and attempts to stop their plans for global destruction. In the cooperative multiplayer mode, players join forces to complete missions together. The game features improved visuals, enhanced controls, and a new 3D mode that allows players to experience the game in stereoscopic 3D.
