BattleTanx: Global Assault (バトルタンクスグローバルアサルト) is a tank-based combat game released by 3DO for the Nintendo 64 in Europe in 1999. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the world is divided into three factions, the Global Defense Force (GDF), the National Army (NA), and the Evil Dark Legion (EDL). Players take control of one of the three factions and battle for control of the world.
