Bomberman Hero (ボンバーマンヒーロー) is a Nintendo 64 game developed by Hudson Soft and released in 1998. It is the eighth installment in the Bomberman series and the first 3D Bomberman game. The game follows the story of Bomberman, a robot created by Dr. Ein to save the galaxy from the evil forces of the Dark Star. The player controls Bomberman as he travels through various planets, defeating enemies and bosses in order to collect the eight pieces of the Rainbow Crystal. Along the way, Bomberman will collect power-ups and items which can be used to increase his abilities. The game features a variety of levels, from traditional side-scrolling stages to fully 3D levels where the player can explore the environment and find hidden items. The game also features a two-player mode where players can compete against each other in a variety of mini-games. Bomberman Hero is an enjoyable game for both single and multiplayer, and is a great addition to the Bomberman series.
