Dark Rift (USA) (Japanese title: ダークリフト) is a science-fiction shooter game developed by VR1 and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1997. The game follows the story of a lone space pilot who is sent to investigate a mysterious dark rift in the universe. Players take control of the pilot, piloting a small ship, and must battle their way through a variety of levels, fighting off a variety of enemies and obstacles. The game features a variety of weapons, including a laser gun, missiles, and a shield, as well as a variety of power-ups.
