F-Zero X (Europe) (Japanese title: F-ZERO X) is a racing video game developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 console. It was released in Japan on July 14, 1998, in Europe on October 30, 1998, and in North America on November 20, 1998. F-Zero X is the sequel to the original F-Zero game, which was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. The game features a total of 30 tracks, including four hidden tracks, and is the first game in the series to feature a track editor, allowing players to create and share their own custom tracks. The game also features four different Grand Prix cups, each with five tracks, and a 'Death Race' mode in which the player must defeat as many opponents as possible in a limited amount of time. The game's graphics and sound were praised for their time, and the game was well-received by critics.
