Goemon's Great Adventure (Japanese: 魂斗羅大魔界村, lit. 'Contra: Great Demon World Village') is a 1998 platform video game developed and published by Konami for the Nintendo 64. It is the fifth installment in the Ganbare Goemon series, and the first in the series to be released for the Nintendo 64. The game follows the adventures of Goemon and his friends as they search for the legendary treasure of the Demon World. Players control Goemon as he explores various levels, fighting enemies and collecting items. The game also features a variety of mini-games, as well as a two-player mode. Goemon's Great Adventure was well-received by critics, who praised its graphics, music, and variety of gameplay elements.
