The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Japanese: ゼルダの伝説ムジュラの仮面) is a 2000 action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. The game is the sixth installment in The Legend of Zelda series, following the 1998 title The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. In Majora's Mask, the protagonist Link travels through the land of Termina, which is doomed to be destroyed by the moon in three days. Link must use the power of the Ocarina of Time and the mysterious Mask of Majora to prevent the apocalypse. The game features a unique three-day cycle, with the moon slowly falling towards Termina. The cycle can be reset by playing the Song of Time on the Ocarina of Time, allowing Link to travel back in time and redo events. The game also features a variety of masks, which can be used to transform Link into various forms, each with its own abilities. The game is set in a darker, more mature atmosphere than its predecessor, and features a variety of side-quests and minigames. The Debug version of the game features a variety of debug options, allowing players to access unfinished content, such as unused items and areas. The game was released in Europe in 2000, and was the first game in the series to feature full voice acting.
