Madden NFL 2000 (USA) (Japanese title: マッデンNFL 2000) is a sports video game released for the Nintendo 64 console in 1999. Developed by EA Sports, it is the 11th installment in the Madden NFL series. It is the first game in the series to feature 3D graphics, allowing for more realistic gameplay and better graphics. It features all 31 NFL teams, plus two expansion teams, and allows for up to eight players to play in a single game. It also has a new 'Franchise Mode' which allows players to manage their team over several seasons, and a 'Create-A-Player' mode which allows players to create their own custom player. The game also features a variety of game modes, including one-on-one, tournament, and practice modes.
