Pokemon Stadium (ポケモンスタジアム) is a Nintendo 64 game released in 1998 in the United States. It is a spin-off of the popular Pokemon series, and the first game in the Stadium series. The game allows players to battle their Pokemon in 3D arenas, as well as to transfer their Pokemon from the Game Boy versions of the game to the Nintendo 64. The game also has a variety of mini-games and challenges, as well as a selection of bonus features. It also features a variety of tournaments and leaderboards. The game was well-received by critics and fans alike, and is considered to be one of the best Pokemon games ever released. It was also the first Pokemon game to be released on a console, and the first to feature 3D graphics. Pokemon Stadium was followed by two sequels, Pokemon Stadium 2 and Pokemon Battle Revolution, both of which expanded upon the original game.
