Shadowgate 64 - Trials of the Four Towers (Europe) (Japanese title: Shadowgate 64: Shiro no Yakata - Kanketsuhen) is an adventure game developed by Kemco and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. The game is a sequel to the original Shadowgate, released in 1987. It is a classic point-and-click adventure game, where the player takes the role of a brave knight, Sir Jon, who must venture into the four towers of Shadowgate to save the kingdom of Kal Torlin from the evil Warlock Lord. The player must explore the towers, solve puzzles and battle monsters in order to progress. The game features a variety of puzzles and minigames, as well as a new 3D engine and improved graphics. The game also features an original soundtrack composed by Yasunori Mitsuda.
