Star Wars - Shadows of the Empire (Europe) (スター・ウォーズシャドウズ・オブ・ジ・エンパイア) is a Nintendo 64 game released in 1996. It is a 3D action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe, between the events of Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. The player takes on the role of a mercenary named Dash Rendar, who is tasked with saving the galaxy from the Empire. The game features a variety of missions, including space combat, ground combat, and vehicle-based missions. The game also features a variety of weapons, characters, and locations from the Star Wars universe, as well as a number of original characters and locations. The game was well-received upon its release, and is considered one of the best games on the Nintendo 64.
