Sydney 2000 (Europe) (Proto) is a sports game released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. It was developed by Konami and published in Japan as Kōshien '99: Kōkō Yakyū Zenkoku Taikai (硬式野球 全国大会 '99). The game is based on the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and features a variety of Olympic sports, including athletics, swimming, archery, shooting, and more. Players can choose to compete in either single-player or two-player modes. In single-player mode, the player competes against computer-controlled opponents in a series of events. In two-player mode, the players can compete against each other in a range of events. The game also features a training mode where players can practice their skills in each event. Sydney 2000 (Europe) (Proto) offers a realistic and immersive Olympic experience, with detailed graphics and sound effects that bring the Olympic atmosphere to life.
