The game features more than 70 wrestlers from both WCW and the nWo, including Sting, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Goldberg, The Giant, and Lex Luger. Players can create their own wrestler and customize them with various moves, taunts, and costumes. The game also includes an extensive create-a-pay-per-view mode. The game features a variety of match types, including singles, tag team, triple threat, four-way, battle royal, and cage matches. It also features a variety of weapons, such as chairs, tables, and ladders, that can be used during matches. The game also features a mode in which players can create their own wrestling storylines. WCW-nWo Revenge is widely considered to be one of the best wrestling games ever made. It was praised for its large roster, its create-a-wrestler mode, and its create-a-PPV mode.
