The game is based on the Blue Dragon anime series and follows the story of the protagonist Shu and his friends as they journey to save their world from an evil force. The game's story begins when Shu, Jiro and Kluke are sent to investigate a mysterious island that has appeared in their world. Upon arriving, they discover that an evil force has taken control of the island and is using it to spread chaos and destruction.
