Desktop Tower Defense (デスクトップタワーディフェンス) is a tower defense game developed by Paul Preece for the Nintendo DS. The game is based on the popular web game of the same name and is a single-player experience. The aim of the game is to protect your desktop from waves of enemies by strategically placing towers along the path they take. The player can upgrade and customize their towers in order to increase their effectiveness. There are over 30 levels and each level has a unique set of enemies, towers and upgrades. The game also features two modes of play, a Story Mode and a Challenge Mode. Story Mode follows the progress of the game from the opening levels to the final boss fight.
