Digimon World DS (デジモンストーリー DS, Dejimon Sutōrī DS) is a role-playing game developed and published by Bandai Namco Games for the Nintendo DS. It is the fifth game in the Digimon World series. The game is set in the Digital World, a location created by Digimon computer networks. The player takes on the role of a Digimon Tamer, who is tasked with exploring the Digital World and helping the Digimon inhabitants. The game features turn-based battles and a variety of side-quests and mini-games. The player can also capture and raise over 200 different Digimon species.
