ドラゴンクエストIX 星空の守り人 (Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies) is a role-playing video game developed by Level-5 and published by Square Enix for the Nintendo DS. It is the ninth installment of the main Dragon Quest game series and the first to be initially released on a handheld console. The game follows the protagonist, a celestial being called the Luminary, on their quest to save the world of Angel Land from an evil force. The game features an open-world structure, allowing the player to freely explore the world and take on various side-quests. The game also includes a multiplayer mode, allowing up to four players to join together in a quest. Dragon Quest IX offers a unique blend of traditional RPG elements and modern features, creating an engaging and immersive experience.
