The Golden Compass, known as ノーモア・ヒーローズゴールデンコンパス (No More Heroes: Golden Compass) in Japan, is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo DS. The game is based on the 2007 movie of the same name and follows the story of Lyra Belacqua, a young girl living in an alternate version of Oxford, England. Players take control of Lyra as she embarks on an epic quest to save her friend, Roger Parslow, from a mysterious organization known as the Gobblers. Along the way, she will face a variety of enemies, solve puzzles, and use her magical compass to unlock powerful abilities. The game features a unique art style and cel-shaded graphics, as well as five language versions (English, French, German, Spanish and Italian).
