GoldenEye 007: Double Agent (ゴールデンアイ 007 ダブルエージェント) is a first-person shooter video game developed by Electronic Arts and released for the Nintendo DS in 2006. The game is a spin-off of the popular GoldenEye 007 series, and follows the story of an ex-MI6 agent who is recruited by the criminal organization known as 'The Janus Syndicate' to become the new 'GoldenEye'. Players take on the role of the rogue agent and use a variety of weapons and gadgets to carry out missions given by the Syndicate. The game features a single-player story mode, as well as a local wireless multiplayer mode. In the single-player mode, players take on the role of the rogue agent, and must complete missions given by the Syndicate. Missions range from infiltrating a secret facility to eliminating a rival organization. Along the way, players must use a variety of weapons and gadgets to complete their objectives. In the multiplayer mode, up to four players can compete in a variety of game modes, such as deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, and more.
