Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits (ギターヒーローオンツアーモダンヒッツ, Gitaa Hiirou On Tsua: Modan Hittsu) is a rhythm game developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision for the Nintendo DS. It is the third installment in the Guitar Hero series, and the first to be released on a handheld platform. The game features 25 master recordings of popular songs from the 2000s, including singles from Linkin Park, Paramore, The Killers, and The White Stripes. Players use the Nintendo DS's stylus and the included guitar grip peripheral to strum the notes of the song as they appear on screen. The game also supports local wireless multiplayer, allowing up to four players to play cooperatively or competitively. Players can also customize their own character and compete in online leaderboards to prove their skill.
