Kouchuu Kakutou is a new game on the Nintendo DS. It's a puzzle game with a pun. The player controls a do-it-your-own-way protagonist, Koutchou, as they navigate their way through 20th century Japan in search of the next Grand-Prix. The goal is to create the most perfect mushi-1, and Jewels will be the main ingredient. The player is also prompted to be specific about what they are looking for, in case they don't know the game. Kouchuu Kakutou is a lot of fun, from the moment-to-day key decisions needed to get through the each of the 20 different levels. The cheese is great, and sure to please. The level of cheese that the player creates will be the only thing seriously concerned, as that game is the only one type of cheese that is allowed on the Nintendo DS. Kouchuu Kakutou is a must-play for those who love to puzzle games, and Jewels will be the star of the show.
