Players work to defeat the villains and save the city. As players progress, they will learn about the building life, transportation, and other things that make up the LEGO Friends world. The game is set up like an online reality, with players taking part in various activities and tasks as they journeyed through the city. Players can use their building skills to build things like buildings and bridges, while trying to prevent crime from taking place. There is also a strong focus on online play, with players able to communicate with one another in order to get them all to build something.
