Mahjong Mysteries: Ancient Egypt is a new game on the Nintendo DS. It’s a strategy game with, of all things, it being a board game. You’re a Pharaoh, your mission is to find and store the Ancient Egyptian artifacts in order to stop the Pharaohs from taking over the world. It’s a bit like Guacamole but with Pharaohs and anhid. The game board is a layout of hieroglyphics, and you’re required to give back to your friends and allies the artifacts you’ve found. You can also control your Pharaoh with a WASD keyboard, or use the A and B buttons to move the Pharaoh around the board. There are Various obstacles along the way, from large and heavy rocks to Minor Herodes, the small and dainty Memphis, and even aNL. The game is over when you York the last artifact from the board game, and the Pharaoh moves on to the next game.
