Maji de Manabu is a game for the Nintendo DS. The player takes on the role of a man named Maji de Manabu, who is looking for a love letter from his long-dead girlfriend, Ukaru. The player uses the Nintendo DS's camera to look around in all of the surrounding areas, trying to find Ukaru. In the game, the player must find all of the help resources that the game's developers have available. Some of these resources include a letter from Ukaru, a heart, and a weapon known as the Shiken. The player can also encounter other players by using the touch screen to move and control the player's body. The game is set in a specific location in Japan in the year 20xx, and the players are able to see Ukaru's remains and the time it takes for her to die. The game also shows the effects of the Shiken on the player's body.
