Nounai Kakusei Honeycomb Beat is a new game for the Nintendo DS. It is set in the future where people have developed a love for honeybees. One player is a beekeeper who has to save his bees from being killed by a honeydew-eating creature. The other player is a computer program that has been designed to protest against honeybees. The game is divided into four parts: first, the player takes on the role of a beekeeper who must save his bees from being killed by a honeydew-eating creature. Next, the game features a story mode in which the player learns about the honeybees and how to save them. In third part, the beekeeper must battle a creature that is identical to the one that they are fighting in the past, in order to save the bees from extinction. Finally, the game ends with a final story mode in which the player learns about the honeydew-eating creature and how to prevent itself from happening.
