In Petz, you lead your pet horse through the adventures of various loved ones, all of which can be in different countries. Each stage has its own set of challenges, and some with unique challenges that the player must overcome. by following the player's horse, he or she can come across as many as six different countries' regions, as well as a variety of food and entertainment options. Along the way, the player will encounter enemies, all of which can be fought with a variety of weapons and tactics. most notably, the horse can fly with a trio of bills, which gives the game a bit of a puzzle feeling. the graphics are okay, with a sturdy design that doesn't show much wear and tear, and the animations are fast and fluid. all in all, it's a decent DS game that amounts to little more than a horse and his family experienceing their first year of life.
