In Power Pocket Koushien, you and your cat must help each other to survive in a world of strict rules and dangerous places. The player’s job is to find and defeat enemies while dodging questions from the protagonist, Koushien, and his family. There are strict rules to following too, and if you fail to find and defeat your target before they do, your cat and you are both killed. The player must quickly find each object and place of interest, and return it to the inventory of the character Koushien. The item must be in hand when the scene starts, and the player is allowed one life per life of the item. If Koushien's life is killed, the scene ends and his cat must be found and killed by the next player. The game features 8 character types and 8 scenes.
