In Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call, you and your player character Layton must help an unknown organization from the head of a secret society known as theSpectre's Call. The organization's research is stifled by the government, which has research into the society and its secrets related to life in the society prevent them from knowledge from being released. One way to help the organization is to find and stop a member of the society, which will give you and your player character a chance to do so. The game is set up like a open-world action RPG with you and your character getting into adventures into different continents and across different landscapes. layton the scientist comes up with a solution that will make the society work with the release of a virus that will help to make the group more powerful. However, the government will not let him do it, which will cause them to take action against the society. In order to save the day, you and your character need to use your knowledge and skills in order to stop the Society from doing something it will not be able to stop.
