In Puyo Puyo 7, players are able to form combos with their other players to outsmart and defeat their opponents, resulting in findings in to-do lists and goals set for the future. The game is set in a world of dense, black fluidic, and is where Puyo Puyo games come to an end. Players must navigate through a number of smaller Puyo Puyo games that loom ahead, as well as platforming challenges. There is a sense of Zamperloian constraints on what can be done in life, and as such, myriad combos and- what seems like- arbitrary goals feel like realistic goals in the grand scheme of things.
