Radiant Historia is a new point-and-click game on the Nintendo DS that tells the story of a young girl, Shahar, who is sent to the future, in order to save her loved ones. The game is set up around a variety of locales, including upscale luxurious homes with floor-length gloves, and an all-encompassing rose-hued world where all life is a mere flicker in the hands of a few (or more). The game opens with the protagonist, now Shahar, in her office in the future, where she reveals that her loved ones have all been killed by a virus that has been spreading through the A.I.s. The player is then asked to help her find a way to stop the virus, which leads them to a world where life is a livingokrisis.
