The game is set in the world of CharanaRhythm, where people are able to play games and avatars to achieve various rewards. The game is free to play, but there are in-game microtransactions that change the feel of the game. In Shugo Chara! two are the focus are the good and the bad. One is good and the other is bad. The two are trying to fix the world so it is the good that is corrupt. They need the help of the character we see here, Shugo, to do so. To do this, they need to get through the many obstacles and get to the good guys and girls. There are Japanese language voice actors for all the characters, as well as American language voice actors for the characters of the Japanese language. The game is set to go live in 2011.
