In TNA Wrestling Impact! – Cross the Line, players take on the role of a new wrestlers' agent - TNA Heat - and must work together to protect the interests of the right-minded champion, the 'Best Tag Team Champion' in TNA, from enemy factions within the promotion - the X-Men (a team made up of two Ultimate Warriors) and the Hulkamaniacs. TNA Wrestling is a highly anticipated game for TNA, and players will use their skills as a wrestler,anger and pragmatism as they take on the various opponents, learning as they go. In order to progress, players must achieve results in the various tournaments that TNA tournaments are holding, earn rewards from friendly wrestlers and teams, and of course, maintain the best possible record to win the title.
