The game is set in a fantasic world ofahi anda, and the game's central character, Tantei Jinguuji, is aishita, or 'good guy.' Inishie no Kioku is a dark and gritty game that takes place in a great continent that is in the process of being developed into a world-class machine. The game is associated with the series 'Tantei Jinguuji' because the player's aliens are fighting for their lives against a team of humans who are trying to stop them from doing things like creating the world's greatest machine.
