Yokoyama Mitsuteru Sangokushi - Dai-3-kan - Sanko no Rei (Japan)

In this game, the player takes on the role of a Mightiest One of all, seeking to conquer all of the other districts. However, this is never possible as the other districts are always in check, until one comes across a 'Tower of unlockers' - a building which allows the player to access all the districts for a set amount of time. The player is then able to progress by visiting the various districts, unlocking new enemies and enemies with each visit. The game is designed to keep the player engaged, as each visit to a district is a new challenge with different reward opportunities.
