Aero Blasters is an action-adventure video game for the Sega Genesis. It was published by Sega and developed by Taito. The game is a sequel to the previous game, Sonic the Hedgehog. The player controls Sonic the Hedgehog as he races through a variety of landscapes and obstacles, dodging enemy fire and blasting away at obstacles in order to progress. The game has two main modes: singleplayer and multiplayer. In singleplayer mode, the player can play through the game's story, or play co-operative multiplayer matches. In multiplayer mode, players can race against each other or team up to take on waves of enemies. The game was ported to the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, but was not released.
