BareKnuckle III is a boxing game developed by Hudson Soft and released in Japan in October of 1992. It is the third in the Bare Knuckle series, and is a side-scrolling action game where the player controls a boxer named John 'Bare' Armstrong as he fights various opponents in a variety of locations. The game is known for its high level of violence and gore, and its crude graphics. It has been cited as one of the most violent and gory video games ever made.
