Columns III (USA)

Columns III is a unique and highly popular video game for the Sega Genesis, developed by Taito and published by Sega. It is a side-scrolling action game in the vein of Super Mario World, with various levels and bosses. The player controls a character named Joe, who walks around the level, collecting coins and power-ups to help him progress. The game was first released in Japan in 1990 and later re-released in North America in 1992 and Europe in 1993.
