Gauntlet IV is an action-RPG game developed and published by Sega. It is the fourth game in the Gauntlet series and is a sequel to the 1993 arcade game Gauntlet. The game is a sidescrolling game with a 3D graphics engine. The player controls a character named Grendel, who is pitted against other enemies in a series of battles.
