The Sega Genesis game 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' is a children's science fiction action role-playing game developed by Japan's Bandai Namco for the European market. The game was published by Bandai Namco Europe and released in Europe on October 1, 1996. It is the first in the 'Mighty Morphin' series and the first game in the 'Power Rangers' series. The game features the adventures of the young students at the school where the Power Rangers are being trained. The Power Rangers are joined by the Morphin Megazord, the Morphin Light, the Morphin Galaxy, the Morphin Storm and the Morphin Turbo. The game is set in a new world where the evil aliens have taken over and created a parallel universe in which the Power Rangers have been erased. The game has two modes: singleplayer and multiplayer. In singleplayer, the player controls one of the Rangers, and they must complete various missions to progress. In multiplayer, the players can join forces with other players to complete missions. The game was met with positive reviews from critics. It was rated 8.5 out of 10 by video game magazines.
