NHLPA Hockey 93 is a professional hockey game for the Sega Genesis. The game was developed by FromSoftware and published by Electronic Arts. It was released in 1992 in the United States and Europe. The game is a clone of the NHLPA Hockey '92 game released in 1991. The gameplay is based on the NHL '92 game with some changes. The goalies are now players who must save their team from being OvertimeCapped. The players are also now limited to a certain number of moves per game. The game also features a new 'coaching' mode in which the player can choose from a variety of coaches and they will give the players different playing styles. The game is a single-player game and is not compatible with the Genesis Controller.
