Ranger X is an action-adventure video game for the Sega Genesis. It was published by Sega of America and was released in 1992. The game is a sequel to the successful Sega Genesis game Sonic the Hedgehog. The player controls the protagonist, Sonic, as he attempts to stop Dr. Robotnik from building a giant robot called the Omega Beam. The game features a variety of different levels that can be completed in different ways, and there are also bonus levels that can be unlocked after playing through the game a few times.
