The Sega Genesis game Romance of the Three Kingdoms II is a historical role-playing game set in the time period of the Han Dynasty. You play as one of three main characters: a young girl named Wei Shuang, a young man named Liu Bei, or a young man named Liu Bang. You must help your three companions defeat the evil empire of the Wuji and their allies, the Zhangjiakou, in order to protect China from the evil Empire. In order to do this, you will have to travel through a variety of different areas and battle various enemies. You can also use your weapons and spells to defeat your enemies and complete quests.
